Abstract

The e-commerce has taken the Indian business by storm. It is creating an entire new economy, which has a huge potential and is fundamentally changing the way businesses are done. It has advantages for both buyers as well as sellers and this win-win situation is at the core of its phenomenal rise. The new report has shown that there is a steady rise in the disposable income and proliferation of internet across the country happen to be the primary market drivers for e-Commerce businesses in India. It is anticipated that the Semi Metro & Urban cities will contribute the most in shaping up the demand curve in the ensuing years. A thorough research on the market shows brimming opportunities for vendors from the mobile internet and social media space.
