SMART GRID- DG IN FUTURE POWER SYSTEMS

The current power system is characterized by centralized control and passive distribution grids. An impression of the capacity of DG, distribution grids, transmission grids and central generation in the current. Two possible control scenarios with respect to an increased penetration level of DG are discussed and the consequences are also shown in figure.
