The words stress, anxiety and frustration have become a part of the routine in this competitive and fast moving life. On top of it, there is inflation and recession which creates financial problems as well as job insecurity. This not only creates havoc in personal life but also leads to decrease in productivity at the workplace. This has become a challenge for organisations where employees are treated as an asset and as an important resource which is critical for the success of the organisation. The organisation’s competitive advantage also depends on how efficiently and effectively its employees perform their tasks. But if the employees are stressed out, have addictions problems, are unable to cope with their workload and have other issues on their mind, they will be unable to give their best at work.
