A STUDY OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND QUALITY TEACHING OF ELEMENTARY TEACHER EDUCATION TRAINEES

Abstract

In this paper the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Quality Teaching skills were studied among Elementary Teacher Education Trainees of District Institute of Education & Training (DIETs) located in Delhi, India. Normative Survey method was used. For collection of data random sampling technique was used and 450 Elementary Teacher Education Trainees were selected for the sample of data collection. For collection of data self-constructed tools EISETET and QTSETET were used. A correlation technique was used for analyzing data. Significant correlation was found between Emotional Intelligence and Quality Teaching skills of Elementary Teacher Education Trainees.
