Abstract

The human capital is being viewed as one of the vital factors for success of a company. It can be perceived that most successful organizations have systemized their management of human capital in an organized manner. The management of human capital can be applied in hotel industry by identifying the essential factors that lead the organization to sustain in the industry for a long term basis. Various studies have been conducted in this area but the practices of human capital management are still not very well-known. The present study examined the impact of human capital management in Indian hotel industry with empirical evidences using data collected from employees of selected star hotels in Andhra Pradesh. The collected data was analyzed using statistical tools to determine the link between human capital management practices and sustainability of organization in the industry.
