Abstract

The ongoing Corona virus or COVID-19 pandemic swept the world in a very matter of weeks, drastically and desperately changing the lives of millions. In these troublesome times, many organisations are struggling to keep their doors open and all must find ways to stay their employees safe, comfortable and productive. The days ahead will present probably some of the most significant HR challenges of our time. Identifying and implementing effective employee policies and support may make or break businesses within the coming months of unpredictability. HR groups that rise to the occasion will be indispensable in leading businesses through the storm. Electronic Human Resource Management System (e-HRM System) is a web-based solution that exploits the most recent web application technology to deliver an online real-time human resource management solution. It is thorough but easy to use, feature-rich yet flexible enough to be custom fitted to your specific needs. This study focuses on the role of e-HRM in this global pandemic era and tries to investigate the current challenges faced by HR Professionals and the probable solution to handle this situation.
