Abstract

The main aim of the study was to investigate the contribution and achievements of Gurcharan Singh Gogi towards the promotion of Judo in the country and also the professional qualities of Gurcharan Singh Gogi. Sports play a pivotal role in the lives of men who want to carve a position, it is not today, it was in the past as well, primitive societies also considered sports as a source of releasing stress and making a position in society. Sports have a more important role to play in society and nation today, since it has become a source of making living as well. Dronacharya Awardee Gurcharan Singh Gogi is a well known personality in Judo. The purpose of taking this research project is to highlight the qualities of Gurcharan Singh Gogi.
