Abstract

In this research paper investigation was made for the comparison of two structure system which is modelled on ETABs software. First system is Dual system (Buildings with ductile RC structural walls) which is named it as System with Bi-directional beams and, second system is Ductile Structural wall system (which are designed to resist 100 % of the design lateral forces), which is considered in this study as System with Uni-directional beams. The response of the structure in form of Storey Drift, Base Shear, Displacement and Storey Stiffness was obtained. Analysis was made to find the result of storey force. Response Reduction Factor has changed for both the adopted structural systems as per IS code.
