Abstract

In modern society, some parents are so busy building career and making money, that they struggle for the duty to taking care of their child. Medicines play a major role in health care. Thus, this paper provides a beneficial, compactable IoT-enabled MEDIBOX which is used to monitor child's health problems. The proposed system uses a temperature sensor that continuously monitors the child's body temperature. In case of emergency, a message will be sent to the parents. This device is wearable like wrist watch. In case of delaying the intake of the medicines from the MEDIBOX, an automatic appointment can be made with the nearby hospitals and warn the parents about the child's emergency condition. The proposed model contains various sensors which measures the weight of the pills taken parameters on a regular basis. The motivation is to avoid delay in the intake of medicine and also to ensure the correct dosage according to the prescription.
