ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENT TOOLS FOR DESIGNING E-COMMENCE WEBSITES OF MICRO ENTERPRISES

Abstract

E-Commerce websites are a way which offers customer anywhere anytime access and allows them to buy products/services with ease in internet. E-Commerce websites act as a gateway for people across the globe to make the transactions at a click of a button. E-Commerce websites become integrated “anytime- anywhere access” platforms for information delivery, communication, collaboration and automating business processes through interconnected applications and web services. E-Commerce websites can be effectively designed by using the development platform. The objective of this paper is to explore the different types of tools used in the development of E-Commerce websites and also finding out the significance between the tools used for the development purpose. The tools are PHP and Database, DotNet, PrestaShop, Opencart and Magento. PHP is an open source application used for the web development. A database is a software application that interacts with the user and used to store the data in computer..NET Framework is a software framework developed by Microsoft that runs primarily on Microsoft Windows. PrestaShop is a free, open source E-Commerce solution. Open Cart is an online store management system. Magento also an open source E-Commerce platform written in PHP. Our particular focus is to highlight how the E-Commerce websites become attractive and effective by using the development tools and ready-made tools
