Abstract

Because of the advancement of life in the last few decades and the proceeding with improvement to right now, notwithstanding the expansion within the sight of industries and research centers and contemporary means of transport and increment the necessities of living, for example, shelter and work and the resources of use of food, water and energy. Every of these prompted a huge contamination in nature wherein we live. What's more the increase in the spending of fuel and energy will bring about in a boost in the extent of risky substances that will be put in the environment because of the consumables one use in his everyday life. Hence, there is an imperative requirement to safeguard the earth and to detoxify injurious substances and human waste. The term green chemistry alludes to the employ healthful resources and clean energy sources that do not contain hazardous remainders when exploited. Green technology is also involved in the engineering fields, particularly structural engineering, with the goal that waste recycling and its applications for construction purposes can be attained in addition to create eco-friendly amenities. An attempt has been made in this paper to present a review of the applications of green chemistry in the fields of civil engineering.
