This paper displays a Study on Library and Information administrations at Karnataka woods division Central Forest Library. The developing requirement for knowledge management has affected each segment and task of a library. Knowledge management requires increasingly successful strategies for information taking care of, rapid exchange of information and connecting of information with people and their exercises. It requests library benefactor focused improvement of information frameworks and administrations. Improvement of information correspondence innovation (ICT) and its applications in Library and Information Centers, the idea of archive management has changed to information management and the whole situation of information management has begun its change to knowledge management.
