Abstract

Bank is one of the biggest financial institutions which regularly explore use and benefits of technology provided to customers through number of products and services. The technology is changing rapidly day by day, which is also promoting the bank and financial institutions to explore technology to offer services to the customer. The paper deals with the post-graduation student’s perception and awareness towards banking products and services with special reference to Pune city. The research study is conducted through primary data collection. Out of 125 total respondents, Majority (i.e. 50.4% ) of the sample respondents have mentioned that they hold their account in public sector banks and other 40.8% people hold accounts in private banks. 51% people go to bank for cash deposit and 36% people use ATM services for banking services. According to study, researcher concludes that most of PG students are aware of all banking services in Pune city. The banks should further take necessary steps to create awareness within PG students for banks offerings and services and how technology can help them to utilize these banking services.
