IMPACT OF FDI ON INDIAN ECONOMY

Abstract

FDI assume a vital job in monetary advancement of a country specially developing and underdeveloped countries through highly latest technology, technical know-how, managerial skill and finance resources. Foreign capital had started in India since the times of east India Company. A nation's innovation level and sectoral advancement is relying on the dimension of FDI inflows. The reason for this examination is to break down the pattern of FDI value inflows in various sectors in Indian economy. This paper also assists to know the share of top investing countries in FDI equity inflows in India. The auxiliary information has been gathered from different diaries, books, Newspapers and sites and so forth. for the periods of 2000-2018.The greatest FDI inflows can be seen in the telecommunication sector attract the equal FDI equity inflows i.e. 6.14 billion U.S.doller for financial year 2018 of total FDI inflows. The paper also presented FDI play significant role in the long- term development of a domestic nation through many means of equity capital, efficient infrastructure, creating new employment, latest technology, improve productivity. By this paper we come to know that that India have gotten most extreme FDI inflows from the Mauritius .The point by point exchange about the Foreign Direct Investment is a unique commitment of this paper.
