INVESTOR’S AWARENESS ON THE CAPITAL MARKET INSTRUMENTS IN KERALA- AN EMPIRICAL STUDY

Abstract

The capital market plays a very important role in channelizing resources to the productive sectors. The very objective of optimal allocation of economic resources for the sustainable growth of the country can be ensured through the development of capital market. The state of Kerala has sizable number of investors who ensure that capital markets are kept at the right investment issues. This study was done with the specific target audience in mind, secondary data including literatures and analysis of the investor’s awareness on the capital market instruments. The conclusion and the suggestions are based on the primary data.
