A STUDY ON CUSTOMER AWARENESS AND USAGE OF TECHNOLOGICAL BANKING SERVICES IN TIRUPUR DISTRICT

Abstract

In the present era technological support is very essential for the effective functioning of the banking and is the utmost important element for the growth of mankind. The research concentrates on the awareness and usage of technological services by customers in banking sector. Technological banking services has made the financial transactions and payment in an easy and fast way. The study shows how people can make use of technology in banking. Data were collected from 200 banking customers in Tirupur district through a structured questionnaire. Data collected were analyzed using various tools such as simple percentage analysis, rank correlation, Z-test and ANOVA with the help SPSS. The study finds out that the majority of the respondents are aware of technological services. This paper helps us to understand the consumer usage and attitude towards technological service provided by banks.
