Abstract

Corporation bank came in to existence during the year 1906 by Khan Bahadur Haji Abdullah Haji Kasim Saheb Bahadur. It has recorded Rs. 3,29,300 Crore mark in business and even far more, with over 10,378 service outlets across the nation, served by committed and dedicated 19,000 plus Corp Bankers. Corporation bank offers wide range of products that include accepting deposits and extending loans to cater the needs of individuals, employees, pensioners, business entities, NRI’s for various purposes like housing, education, business, transfers and other purposes. The present study tries to identify the CASA products of Corporation bank and understand the features and benefits of various CASA products by Corporation bank and also identify the marketing strategies adopted by the bank to create awareness about these products to the target group. The study uses casestudy approach to gather data related to various types of accounts offered by Corporation bank.
