CONSUMERS’ PURCHASE INTENTION REGARDING SELECTED PRO-ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCTS

Abstract
The study examines the consumers’ purchase intention regarding selected pro-environmental products. A sample of the study has been collected from Delhi and NCR (National Capital Region). The total number of the respondents’ is 798, which includes 99 up to12th, 365 graduates and 334 post graduate respectively. The questionnaire consisting of 18 items of purchase intention on a five point Likert scale ranging from strongly agree to strongly disagree was used in the study. In the present paper an attempt has been made to study the consumers’ purchase intention for selected pro-environmental products with special reference to Delhi and NCR. One way ANOVA statistical technique has been used to compare the respondents’ purchase intention. There is no significant difference found in respondents’ purchase intention on the basis of education regarding all the products i.e. Car, AC, CFL, Paper saving except plastic bottles and bags.
