Abstract

Entrepreneurship is seen as a very important part of a sustainable and long-term economic growth at all levels: individual, local, regional, national and even at the international level. Literature has shown that a significant portion of economic growth rates of developed countries can be attributed to entrepreneurs exploiting available resources to create knowledge and add value to a process or, product. Likewise, entrepreneurship can also act as a catalyst that can bring development to an emerging economy such as India.
