Abstract

Abstract :- Nagarpalika collects many types of taxes including property tax, tree tax, education tax, fire extinguisher tax, other special taxes, sanitation tax, water tax, employment tax, Maharashtra education tax etc. under the head of property tax. In short, Nagarpalika receives revenue from the above mention various taxes. From this revenue Nagarpalika provides various facilities to the tax payer. In this connection this Research paper attempted to study all taxes assessment process and percentage of revenue to be collected by Nagarpalika.
