Abstract

Introduction Majority of the Tribal’s in India live in remote forest areas and hilly regions, without exposure to modernity. They are known for their unique ways of living, distinct culture, traditions, beliefs and practices which provide them a distinct identity on the national scene. Most tribal populations inhabit under-developed areas of the country, which are remote, having low density of population. Development of Tribal Population is a key issue in our country for up-lift of socio-economically backward classes in India. Major problems of tribal community are inadequate access to basic amenities that includes education, employment opportunities and affordable health care services and poverty.
