FACTORS INFLUENCING CONSUMERS’ ATTITUDE TOWARDS ONLINE SHOPPING IN COIMBATORE CITY

Abstract

In the modern world E-Commerce plays a vital role. In the competitive world to attract the consumers every business organisation are running with modern innovative technological system. In that online shopping is one of the modern technical tools to attract the consumers in the marketing era. Now a day retailers are follow the strategies to attract the needs of online consumers by analysing their attitude towards online shopping. Therefore we have also decided to analyse and study the factors influencing consumers towards online shopping in Coimbatore city. For this study we have taken 100 samples under convenient method of sampling technique. From this study our finding indicates mainly four factors influenced the consumer attitude towards online shopping it is numerable products availability, time convenience is the second factor, Security is the third factor and last one is quality. Some other factors are also influence the online shoppers like discounts, website design, feedbacks, etc. The researcher found online shoppers are mostly adult, educated persons, and middle income groups. Out of this, the researcher could not conclude that online retailers are satisfy with this factors because it has change time to time ,this will give idea about the online shoppers.
