Employee Retention refers to the ability of the organisation to retain its employees and it's a big challenge for organisations. Organisation culture, pay and remuneration, flexibility and job satisfaction highly influence theretention rate for any company.Employees who leave the organization’s as well as those who leave on their own initiative can cause disruptions in operations, work team dynamics and unit performance. ToRetain their best employees managers must make sure that their organizations should clearly communicate expectations about rewards, working environment and productivity standards. .This paper elaborates on the retention factors such as training, skill recognition, career development, etc.
