Abstract

Consumer behavior can be defined as the process of decision making and physical activity involved in acquiring, evaluating, using, and disposing of goods and services to satisfy needs and want (Solomon, 2006). So, to know why people buy and from where people buy it helps marketer to better understand their customers’ mind to target them for future purchase.This paper attempted to explain the motivation behind the purchase of pre-owned cars by the customers as well as their preferences toward choice of organised versus unorganised dealers’ during purchase of vehicle.
