WOMEN RIGHTS AND REHABILITATION: A CASE STUDY OF UPPER KRISHNA PROJECT

Abstract

In today's world, there are more men than women. Through the world men are dominant. Discrimination and violence against women remain a scourge. The convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women (CEDAW) adopted by the United Nation Organization General Assembly in 1979 and ratified by merely all member states, is the international bill of women's rights, on 8th March the entire world celebrated women's rights. But development works and natural disaster create the displacement and rehabilitation. That time violation human rights and also discrimination of women rights. This kind of development projects created in the Karnataka state of India, i.e. Upper Krishna Project. In this Project total, 176 rehabilitation centres are created. These all Centers Discrimination of women's. In this paper Analyze about how the gender Discrimination going on will be Found out.
