Abstract
The study focuses on the impact of employees’ experience on the conflict management styles in a workplace in WCL organization. A total of 60 employees were selected for the study using simple random sampling technique and were asked to indicate their response in terms of five conflict management styles: compromising, avoiding, accommodating, competing and collaborating. Data collected through the use of structured questionnaire. Descriptive and inferential statistics were applied to analyze data collected from employees. For testing the homogeneity of the variances Levene’s statistics is used. One way ANOVA is used to determine whether there are any statistically significant differences between experience and conflict management styles. The results suggest that there was a significant difference between employees’ experience and collaborating styles. Additionally, employees’ level of experience in an organization produces significant effect on collaborating style of conflict management. Experienced employees exercise more collaborating styles to mangle conflicts than the less experienced employees in an organization.
