Abstract

Industrial sickness is the key event of the modern industrial age and incidence of sickness has been growing in large proportions. Worldwide, the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) has been accepted as the engine of economic growth and for promoting equitable development. The present study was undertaken to find the various reasons for Industrial Sickness in MSMEs which was explored by various secondary data resources and experts in the field. The research was based on previous literature. The study revealed various reasons for sickness like lack of demand, shortage of working capital, etc. So finally it is suggested these reasons should be considered in the formulation of policy regarding MSMEs.
