Abstract

Utilitarianism is so charged on our minds that sometimes we fail to accept the fair or justified behavior. When it comes to unauthorized use of material available for various purposes, we hardly care about its ethical aspect. Issues like trust, honesty or fairness are the call of the situation when we freely access information in today’s world where it is easily and excessively available in diverse forms- printed as well as digitized formats. Modern amenities have made the issue of ethical use more grave as chances, as well as cases of such kind are on hike. This paper presents an overview on available e-resources and their ethical use. Undoubtedly, variety of issues or concerns makes it crystal clear that we need to implement some standards or norms of using e-resources so as to avoid encroachment which is definitely an ungrateful act. Needless to say that it’s not an easy job to keep a strict check on it but it’s definitely crucial to have more feasible action plan.
