Abstract

ABSTRACT In the current scenario, knowledgesharing in hospitals greatly supports their efforts to improve treatment quality, engage patients, advance population health and reduce costs. Hence, these days many hospitals have made advances in information sharing between their various departments as well as with other care partners, patients and public agencies to ensure high quality medical services through their investments in Health IT and electronic health records (EHRs). Information sharing helps the employees to increase their rate of learning and also helps the hospitals in retaining the knowledge and engages their potential employees. Hence the research study was conducted by the researchers with an objective to study and analyze the knowledge sharing practices among the employees working in various private hospitals located in Trichy District, Tamilnadu.
