Abstract
Abstract
Punjab* state has been enriched with the environment of nature. Its architecture had been much influenced by Islamic & British Architecture during their regimes as Islamic spread cultural elements to other places. Islamic rulers of India contributed for the development of a new style of art and architecture of India. The paper deals with the study of the character, material as well as structural elements used in the buildings like mosques, tombs, forts, palaces, gateways, bazars etc.
