Abstract
The small scale sector has played a crucial role in bringing socio-economic development of the countries during the past 50 years. The MSMEs (Micro Small and Medium Enterprises) in India are acting as power and spirit of economic growth in the 21st Century. The sector is the backbone of an economy for any country, as it is the principal contributor to manufacturing, exports and employment generation. The concept of socio-economic development counts both social and economic aspects of development.
