Abstract

Nowadays, robotics is rapidly growing field, as technological advances continue, researching, and designing. Many robots are built to do jobs that are hazardous to people such as defusing bombs, to help disable people, finding survivors in unstable ruins, and exploring mines and shipwrecks. Robotics is also used in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) as a teaching aid. Robotic arm system is complex and costly. The main objective of this paper is to develop cost effective, easy to program, accurate, pick and place robotic arm with five degrees of freedom which can work according desired output and help disable person. The software implementation in this paper comprises simulation and modeling using Roboanalyzer software. After that, hardware model will be developed and using Arduino Uno microcontroller board with five degrees of freedom robotic arm which receives input signal from flex sensor and processes the signal in controller and gives driving input to the respective motor using motor driver module . Programming of robotic arm controller is in Embedded C and no any external programmer is required.
