CO2 ABSORPTION AND DESORPTION PROPERTIES OF SINGLE PHASE BA2FE2O5 AND ANALYSIS OF THEIR MECHANISM USING THERMODYNAMIC CALCULATION

Abstract

Single phase specimen of polycrystalline Ba2Fe2O5, which has been a candidate for CO2 absorbents, was prepared by solid state reaction method in N2 gas flow (log p(O2) ~10 4atm). Ba2Fe2O5 showed weight increase above 500°C in CO2 gas flow, which is originated from the CO2 absorption. In CO2 gas flow,
