Abstract

The Universities are demanding doctoral degree for recruiting Economic faculties in the university. This led to increased research activity at various universities in the country. The present paper highlights statistics of doctoral research in the Department of Economics, Bangalore University, Bangalore. The data of the doctoral research in the university has been analyzed according to Year Wise submission of Doctoral thesis, Decade wise, Subject Wise, Guide Wise, and Gender Wise distribution
