Abstract

Solid ink density and dot gain are the common print quality parameters which are correlated intensively with each other and have a profound impact on print quality. In this time print quality is of prime importance and frequently evaluated which cannot be underestimated now a day. So it becomes mandatory to understand relationship between these parameters. During research these quality parameters were analyzed on coated and uncoated paper substrate in digital printing. This present analysis is used to delineate the dot gain and solid ink density relation with each other during printing. The key objective of this research paper is to explicate how these parameters are correlated to each other.
