STUDY HABITS OF SECONDARY STUDENTS IN GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS.

Abstract

Success of failure of each student depends upon one’s own study habits, of course, study is an art and as such it requires practice. The present paper focused to compare the study habits of government and private schools secondary students in reference to their gender and locality. The researcher framed null hypotheses for the study. 200 secondary school students were randomly considered for the survey. Study Habit Inventory developed by M. Mukhopadhyay and D.N. Sansanwal. Mean, SD, and CR-value are used for the analysis and Interpretation of scores. Major findings showed that there exist no significance difference of study habits of students (Male, Female, Combined, Urban and Rural) of government and private schools.
