Abstract

Present article deals with domestic violence against women ceasing which is still prevalent in the society . Recent research in this field shows that causes are family members, type of marriage, husband’s education, wife’s education, socio-economic status, male dominant views and so on. Women who are facing domestic violence are still reluctant to take any action against this act. Few females are so aware to take any action against their family members committing violence against them.
