Abstract

Now a days software is incomplete without its user interface. Developing a graphical user interface (GUI) is an integral part of software development cycle. So, testing of software completes when GUI’s are also tested along with rest part of the software. Characteristics of GUI are different from rest of the software, so traditional or conventional testing techniques cannot be applied for testing GUI’s. There are number of testing methodologies and tools available today. This paper aims at highlighting those techniques and tools and makes a comparison between them.
