Abstract
A study of folk medicine includes the use of different plant medicines for different ailments. The study was conducted in the year 2012 in Athani taluka of Belgaum District.
The different plant species belonging to different genera and different families were used for therapeutic uses which included wild plant species and cultivated species. The medicinal plants were both plants and trees.
