DIMENSIONS OF QUALITY OF WORK LIFE IN INDIA- AN ANALYTICAL REVIEW

Abstract

Quality of Work Life (QWL) is concerned with overall climate of work situation and it refers to favourableness or unfavourableness of a work environment. A favourable work environment results in better quality of work life and vice-versa. Improving quality of work life is central to organizations seeking to stay competitive. The present study contains an exhaustive review of the existing literature available on the subject. The studies have been presented in chronological order so that the latest studies are presented first followed by the subsequent studies.
