With the growing demand of funds in Asia for development and the insufficient funding by the leading institutions namely the World Bank and IMF to fund them, there has been an increasing need of new institutions to fund development projects. the vacuum is hoped to be filled by the coming up of new institutions in the form of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and New Development Bank.
