Abstract

The term employment structure of a country means the distribution of work force in various occupations of the country. It plays a vital role for the improvement of the economy. As in the traditional explanations, every economy is experiencing a movement from agriculture to industry and to tertiary sector also. For the successful achievement, it is essential. All occupations of the country are broadly divided into three; Primary or agricultural sector, Secondary or industrial sector, and Tertiary or Service sector. Primary sector include agriculture and allied activities including fishery, forestry, animal husbandry and mining. In the secondary sector large scale and small scale industries are included. The service sector includes trade, transport, communication and banking.
