Abstract

Abstract Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is of great importance for Indian food companies as the food sector is strongly dependent on the economy, the environment and on society. In recent years, major food companies have increasingly made big moves to prove their good corporate citizenship to consumers who demand more transparency, responsibility and benevolence from the firms that produce and sell their food.
