Abstract

Mobilization is a hands-on technique performed by licensed health professionals for treating musculoskeletal problems. Grades of mobilization range from 1 through 5, with grades 1 through 4 moving the knee from a partial range of motion to the end of joint range, and grade 5 being a manipulation rather than mobilization. Knee mobilizations may be beneficial for individuals with a variety of conditions, including post-operative rehab and knee osteoarthritis (OA). Several studies that used knee mobilizations for treatment of knee pathology.
