Abstract

Abstract:- Starting from the times of barter system to today’s modern era of plastic money, the mankind has trodden a remarkably long path.undoubtdely “profitability” has always been the driving force and an undercurrent behind all this development. The business houses started realizing that they would have to rise over about the profitability and take care of all those associated with their survival in the society directly or indirectly. This realization resulted into the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR).Many companies think that corporate social responsibility is a peripheral issue for their business and customer satisfaction more important for them. They imagine that customer satisfaction is none only about price and service; they fail to point out on important changes that are taking worldwide that could be the business out of the water. The changes are named as social responsibility which is an opportunity for the business. This research paper focuses on the finding and reviewing of the issues and challenges faced by corporate social activities in India.
