Abstract

India and Egypt represent two ancient civilizations that have enriched world culture with their invaluable contributions to the sciences, arts and philosophical thought since from the third millennium B.C. This cross fertilization between the two rich cultural heritages has created a natural and lasting bond between the two countries and the people. However, The Relations between Egypt and India go back years before the outbreak of the 1952 July Revolution. With the outbreak of the 1952 Revolution in Egypt, relations between the two countries strengthened even more and a friendship had developed between Gamal Abdul-Nasser and Jawaharlal Nehru. This also reflected in the 1955 Bandung Conference, Indonesia, in which the Non-Aligned Movement was first born. So, far the following are cementing bond that made cordial relation between India & Egypt.
