Abstract

Big data is large volume of data from various sources such as social data, machine generated data, traditional enterprise which is so large that it is difficult to manage with traditional database, methodologies, techniques and data mining tools. Data Mining is analyzing the data from different perspectives and summarizing it into useful information that can be used for business solutions and predicting the future trends. Big Data mining is the capability of extracting useful information from these large datasets or streams of data, that due to its Volume, Velocity, Variety and Veracity. The Big Data challenge is becoming one of the most exciting opportunities for the forthcoming years.
