Traditionally, economists believed that investors act rationally and take decisions after considering all the factors. However, over the time, market anomalies such as volatility, unpredictability, crashes, irrational investor behaviour, and stock market bubbles have been observed. It has been realized that investors' decisions are influenced by a complex interplay of cognitive, sociological, and psychological factors.
