Abstract

Data used for the present study comprised of 1440 records of Murrah buffaloes maintained at military dairy farms at Agra, Ambala, Bareilly, ferozpur, Lucknow and Meerut extended ever a period of 30 years. The least-square means of body weight at birth, 6, 12, 18, 24 months and at first calving were observed as 29.77 +0:20 kg., 128.48 +1.90kg 208.38 +2.64 kg, 284.54+3.01 kg, 362.02 + 3.11kg and 503.92 ± 4.55 kg, respectively.
