Abstract

Abstract - The world of wireless network is changing rapidly with the advent of newer and more sophisticated technology. A mobile ad-hoc network is composed of mobile nodes without any infrastructure like wireless access points or base station. The nodes are free to move about and organize themselves into a network. Several protocols are introduced for improving the routing mechanism to find route between any sources to destination host across the network.nodes change their physical location. This favors routing protocols that dynamically discover routers over conventional routing algorithm like distance vector and link state. Another characteristic is that a host/node has very limited CPU capacity, storage capacity, battery power and bandwidth. This means that the power usage must be limited thus leading to a limited transmitter range [1].
